Kurzbeschreibung: Marmosets belong to the anthropoid or simian primates which includes species closest to man. In contrast to other simians, the care and breeding of marmosets is relatively easy and their reproductioni rate considerably higher. These characteristics make marmosets of great interest for primate research, especially as the supply of simians from the wild becomes increasingly limited.
